Making digital interactions feel more human.

The project
Making data visible.
How do you help people understand what they are sharing in a virtual world? We created a series of 3D visuals for Meta, bringing ideas about data transparency and control into view through familiar objects, expressive characters and everyday situations.
The project sits within explorations of privacy and consent in extended reality (XR) and the metaverse. Our role was to translate the interaction concepts into clear, approachable imagery, giving abstract subjects such as neural data, facial expressions and personal preferences a tangible form.

Control within reach.
A dial in the palm of a hand makes an invisible choice feel physical: adjusting how much data is shared. Alongside it, a brain and touch interface visualise the connection between body-based data and the controls people might use to manage it.

Choices you can see.
An open case turns different data types into objects that can be picked up and shared. A virtual wardrobe places a request for sizing information directly within a shopping experience, making the relationship between a choice and its purpose easier to picture.

Places and personalities.
A miniature city gives location-based permissions a recognisable setting. A cast of stylised avatars explores how people might choose to represent themselves in a digital space. Bright colours, rounded forms and simple compositions connect the scenes as one visual family.

Reactions and wellbeing.
Floating travel icons and expressive faces explore how reactions might shape an experience. Smart glasses bring a wellbeing prompt into someone’s view. These are future-facing concepts, visualised to support discussion about how people could understand and manage data use as they go.
