Our services

What types of animation do you specialise in?

We specialise in a variety of animated videos, including 2D animation, 3D animation (CGI), motion graphics, hand drawn, vector, and augmented reality (AR) apps. This covers tv adverts, childrens tv series, character animation, explainer videos, motion graphics, apps, games, special FX, product animations and social media animations to name just a few. Our skilled animators and production team can bring your ideas to life in the style and format that best suits your project's goals.

What does your animation production process look like?

Our animation process starts with a creative meeting, where we discuss your project's goals, target audience, and style preferences. We then move on to scriptwriting, storyboarding, and pre-production. Once the concept is established, our animators begin creating your animation, using the relevant software and tools. We then add sound effects, music, and voiceover to bring your animation to life. Finally, we work with you to ensure that the animated video meets your expectations before delivering the final product.

How much do animations cost to produce?

The cost of animation production can vary depending on the complexity of the project, the length of the animation, and the level of detail required. We offer bespoke pricing for each project to ensure you get the best value for your budget. We provide a transparent breakdown of costs, including pre-production, production, post-production, and any additional creative services, such as voiceover or sound effects. We're committed to providing a competitive price while maintaining high-quality production standards.

What is Augmented Reality (AR)?

Augmented Reality (AR) is an interactive experience that involves blending virtual animated elements with the real world. It uses a camera to overlay digital graphics onto a real-life environment, allowing users to interact with them in real-time. AR can be experienced using mobile devices, smart glasses, and or computers that have a camera attached. It is often used in marketing and advertising campaigns to create engaging and memorable experiences for consumers. We have years of experience creating animations and devloping AR applications, and can work with you to bring your AR ideas to life.

How do you ensure the animation meets our expectations?

We make sure to involve our clients in every step of the creative production process to ensure that the final animated video meets your expectations. We begin by having a detailed discussion about your project and what you hope to achieve with your animation. We then provide you with a storyboard, concept art, and animation tests to give you an idea of what the finsihed animated video will look like. We encourage feedback and revisions throughout, to ensure that we stay on track and create the best possible animation for your needs.

What are the benefits of using animation over filmed footage?

There are several benefits to using animation over regular filmed video footage. First, animation allows for complete creative control over every aspect of the production, from character design to camera angles and special effects. Second, animation can convey complex ideas and abstract concepts in a easy to understand way. Thirdly, animation can be used to create a unique and memorable brand identity and finally, animation is highly versatile and can be used in a range of applications, from advertising and marketing to childrens television and entertainment.

How long does it take to produce an animation?

The time it takes to produce an animated video can vary depending on the complexity of the project, the length of the animation, and the level of detail required. For a basic 2D animation, it can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. More complex animations, such as 3D or augmented reality experiences, can take several months or even up to a year to produce depending on many factors and the overall length of the required content. However, we'll always work closely with you to establish a timeline and keep you informed of progress along the way.

What software and tools do you use to create animations?

Our animation studio uses the latest industry-standard software and tools to create high-quality animations. For motion design we use Adobe After Effects, while for 2D character animation we use Cel Action. For 3D cgi animation, we use Autodesk Maya and Cinema 4D. We also use various plugins and tools to enhance our animations, render animated stills and add special effects.

Can you create custom characters & designs for my project?

Yes, we can definitely create custom characters and designs for your project! Our team of experienced designers can work with you to develop unique and memorable characters that fit your brand or vision. We can provide you with various concept designs to choose from and refine them until you are satisfied with the final result. Our team is also skilled in developing unique backgrounds and environments that complement the story and characters.

What is the difference between 2D and 3D animation?

The difference between 2D and 3D animation is that 2D is created on a flat plane, while 3D animation is created in a three-dimensional space. 2D animation involves drawing or manipulating images on a flat surface. It is often used in television cartoons and motion graphics. 3D animation on the other hand involves the use of computer-generated images to create realistic-looking animations that can be viewed from any angle. It is commonly used in films, video games, and augmented reality experiences. It is also common to combine 2D and 3D cgi animation techniques to create your video, depending on the requirements of the project.

How do you approach storytelling in your animations?

We believe that storytelling is at the heart of every great animation. We approach storytelling by first understanding your goals and creative objectives. From there, we work to develop a compelling narrative that captures the viewer's attention and drives engagement. We use a range of storytelling techniques, including character development, plot twists, and emotional cues, to create a powerful story that resonates with your audience.

Can you work within my budget?

Yes, we can absolutely work within your budget! We understand that every project is unique, and we'll work with you to find a solution that meets your needs and fits your budget. Our team can help you identify ways to optimise the animation process, reduce costs, and achieve your goals.
