Bubblegum
Pie.

Music video / 3D animation

A little mischief. A lot of character.

The project

A slice of growing up.

A father’s advice. A chance encounter. A slice of pie that changes everything. Bubblegum Pie follows Eddie as he leaves school and finds his own way—with a little help from Betty Sue, a waitress who is anything but ordinary.

We brought this cheeky coming-of-age story to life through expressive characters, playful performances and a colourful 3D world, all moving to the rhythm of the song.

Building the world

Designing the diner and desert.

A slightly surreal song called for a world with its own flavour. From the first environment sketches to the final colours and textures, every detail helps set the scene for Eddie’s journey.

Character & performance

Animating to the music.

We timed the characters’ expressions and actions to the song. Every shot was animated around the music, using movement and expression to carry the story as well as the song.
