A little world, recognised in LA
Magic Maia has won Best Animation at the LA International Art Film Fest. We’re very happy to share the news—and to celebrate a character whose big imagination is at the heart of the film.
Six-year-old Maia turns the stories, toys and feelings from her day into a world of dream adventures. With Ducky beside her, she finds a daring version of herself and the courage to try. There is room for warmth, humour and the small worries that can feel enormous when you are growing up.
Meet Maia and Ducky
You can watch the work and see how the characters developed on our Magic Maia project page, from the first sketches to the finished 3D cast.
Thank you to everyone who helped bring Maia’s adventures to life. We’re proud to see the film recognised in LA.
